Recently, more than 300 state, county, and local elected officials across the United States signed a letter organized by the Back from the Brink campaign to President Joe Biden and Congress urging bold action and leadership to reduce and eliminate the threat nuclear weapons pose to their communities and the world.
We invite you to join Back from the Brink. the Union of Concerned Scientists, Physicians for Social Responsibility, and Greater Boston PSR for an outdoor event in downtown Portsmouth, NH to celebrate the success of the Back from the Brink sign-on letter and to influence President Biden’s Nuclear Posture Review. The event features Dr. Ira Helfand, local signatories and other speakers.
Now is the time to make our voices heard! Join fellow activists in New Hampshire and the seacoast region to rally support for and raise awareness about our policy recommendations, and to act locally to prevent nuclear war.
