The resolution, which that calls on the United States to lead a global effort to prevent nuclear war, passed on December 3rd. It was introduced by Town Chair Katherine Marple, who collaborated with volunteers from Seacoast Peace Response to develop it. Residents spoke to the Town Councilors in support of the resolution before the vote, which passed unanimously. You can find the resolution in full here.
